Product Details

This is a set of injection-plastic detailing parts for use with ship models.

Fujimi's big 1/200-scale model kit of the iconic Japanese battleship Yamato, featuring her superstructures, is now available in an inner print box!

  • This large-scale kit features all the essential components of a warship, making it part of the Collectible Equipment series.
  • Painting and gluing are required for assembly. Only the bridge section is pre-painted, so you can achieve its desired look without painting.
  • This 1/200-scale model kit includes the Yamato's superstructure (bridge, funnel, aft bridge, secondary guns, and additional anti-aircraft guns).
  • This kit is based on the Yamato's final form, as see in 1945.
  • The molding color is a gray that mimics the popular "Kure Naval Arsenal color" used in the "Kan NEXT" series.
  • The inner print box (single-sided full color) features a new illustration! The completed superstructure can be placed on display. The illustration depicts the sea surface and wooden deck while underway. The wooden deck recreates secondary guns 1 through 4, and extends all the way to the sides.

[Bridge]:

  • Equipped with Type 21 and Type 22 radars above the bridge.
  • The command pose, the shape of which was revealed during the Musashi seabed exploration, is presumed to have been similarly equipped on the Yamato at the time.
  • The upper lookout post has been enlarged, and a waiting area for personnel has been installed at the rear.

[Central Structure]:

  • Two Type 13 radars are mounted on the mast. Intricate sculpting is achieved with a two-piece structure.
  • Equipped with six illumination lights, with the lens surfaces molded in clear material as separate parts.
  • Stickers include the battle flag hoisted on the mast and the vice admiral's flag, which indicates the commander's seat during Operation Ten-Ichi-Go.

[Outer Shell]:

  • The first and fourth secondary guns are recreated with turret sections and exposed sections above the top deck.
  • The secondary gun barrels can be elevated and lowered.

  • [Bridge Size]: 17.6cm high, 9.2cm wide, 8.7cm long when completed
  • [Central Structure Size]: 18.3cm long, 17cm high, 10.5cm wide when completed
  • [Central Structure Outer Shell]: 20.7cm long, 16.6cm wide when completed (including central structure)
