The seaplane tender Chitose, which was built as their mother ship, features parts that are simple and easy to assemble. The equipment parts such as anti-aircraft guns, machine guns, and seaplanes have been newly designed and verified. Slide molds are used to achieve precise and accurate molding; the following parts are renewed with new molds:
