When large bubbles adhere to parts, the cleaning effect of the ultrasonic waves is diminished. The intermittent operation (irradiation) alternates between 2 seconds of ultrasonic emission and 1 second of pause, which helps to remove some of the dissolved gases from the cleaning solution. This improves the propagation of ultrasonic waves in the solution, enhancing the cleaning power.
